A few friends and I are planning a trip to Trinidad & Tobago this summer. We are going to spend a few days in each place. Does anyone have any recommendations on places to stay, things we should do, where we should eat, who makes the best roti, places to see old style Calypso or modern Soca or Rapso, where to find the best rum tour, etc...? I have been researching ideas at the library and on various travel forums, but I would like to hear from any of you who have been to (or live in) Trinidad or Tobago.

My girlfriend and I are going away to a remote cabin in a few weeks and we are trying to think of what to cook while we are there.

At the public library where I work, our sockets are horribly placed right under the public computers. Because of this placement, our power strips are knocked out of the socket several times a week.

I work in a public library. We currently have a few dozen public use computers that are on a queueing system; however, we are planning on ordering a few new computers that will be on a different network so we are looking at different options.

I am going to hire a landscaper to do some major renovations to my backyard. Since I don’t have all the cash on hand right now, I was planning on paying with a 0% interest credit card (and I would easily be able to pay it off in less than a year). The problem is that the landscaper (who we like much more than the others) does not accept credit cards.

A pipe in the basement is dripping. It goes to the boiler. What can I do to make it stop? Do I need a plumber? (Pictures inside)

When ever I go outside during the winter, my hands hurt (a lot). I have warm winter gloves, but I don't like them. I have issues with any clothing items that are bulky so that rules out ski gloves.

I have never wanted to go to Myrtle Beach, but when I saw the deal for a $18/rt fare...

I live on the first floor in a city. Now that summer is finally here, I want to know if anyone has any ideas on how to secure an air conditioner in the window so a potential thief cannot push the air conditioner in the house or pull it out of the window in order to break into our apartment. I would prefer not to put a grate over the air conditioner, and, if possible, I do not want to drill into the windowsill.

I am about to sell a 1996 Toyota Tercel that has seen better cosmetic days. It runs fine, has a pretty new exhaust, and a new thermostat. However, the engine light is on. I got an inspection at a Toyota dealer and the read out states that there is nothing wrong with it, but the light will not turn off.

I am selling several rare 7" records on ebay. Since a few of them look like they will sell for $30-$80, I am am now concerned about how to best protect them when I mail them out. Can I cut out cardboard and use bubble wrap or should I purchase boxes specifically made for 45s? Any tips would be appreciated...
