Entertain me in print.
I'll put my vote in for Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle - which is actually a trilogy.
There's definitely enough length to make sure it lasts for the whole vacation.
Not too serious or too light either.

Running down the road trying to loosen my load...
You're better off staying on 91 until Barton and then taking rt. 16 back down to Greensboro Bend. Rt. 2 out of St. J's has a long, long hill. If you want to avoid the hill out of Greensboro Bend, go a couple of miles further S. on 16 until you can take a R onto Main St. -> Hardwick St.

Why should I believe Armstrong?
Two other notes:
1. Cycling is not riddled with drugs any more or less than other professional sports. The fact that they actually test the athletes only means that they catch more people.
2. Armstrong put up his own money to allow the UCI to pay for testing. One could come up with some interesting scenarios as to how exactly the arrangement works, but I'll leave that up to you.

Beware the titanium ring?
I'll second the curved inside/comfort fit suggestion. Much more comfortable than the standard ones.

Color one eye black and wear the letter "P" on your chest.
Instant Black-eyed pea.
Another one is to get a disposable white coverall and some pens - a white lie. The pens are for writing your favorite white lies on the coverall.
Cheap and easy.

These are pretty nice carriers.
They are modular so you can use them as a stroller/jogger or even as a pulk in the winter time.
Also, they make the only single-seat trailer I've seen.

I used to live right across the street from Mass. General Hospital, and my speakers would occasionally pick up radio chatter from the arriving/departing ambulances.
Needless to say, the first few times it happened, we were fairly surprised.
This may not help you with a solution, but it does show how the problem (and its cause) can be fairly common.

These bags look pretty nice, if you're into the messenger look.
Manhattan portage makes very durable bags, mine is 11 years old and looks as good as new, even after some heavy use. They're pretty simple though - not really great for several delicate electronic items.

I had my ring made by Mike Augspurger at One-Off Titanium.
It's pretty simple - the style is "plain band with edgebands". The finish dulls a bit with age, and that's fine w/me. Wicked light, because that's important <g>.
I've heard that one downside of Ti rings is if the ring gets caught on anything, it won't give - unlike a gold ring. So if you were to do a lot of woodworking for example, you may not want to wear the ring. But... [more]

We made up flyers when selling our first house and distributed them in our neghborhood.
The people who bought our house heard about it from their friends who saw the flier.
Cleaning and de-cluttering was key.
Pricing is the hardest part.
When we were looking at houses, I got a good laugh at the people who put out "fresh" chocolate chip cookies made from the tubes of dough and had music playing.

Living in Belgium, you should have no problem finding a competent bike shop - and you can always try a recumbent if a standard upright bike just doesn't work. Find a group to ride with (check with your local cycling club).
Note to others: In Belgium, cycling is a fairly popular sport unlike in the USA. I've been to races there with 50,000 paying spectators.
This advice is offered with the utmost respect since it seems to me... [more]

Avoid Kim Stanley Robinson's Years of Rice and Salt, it was one of the few books I've ever read that were boring enough not to even bother finishing.
