Ask post: My kitty has a Real Bear
I just wanted to chime in and say that my 8 year old male, neutered cat does this to a stuffed jaguar cat I received years ago. He makes all kind of noises, drags it from one end of the bed to the other, mashes it down and humps away.....usually staring at me and purring at the same time. At one point it freaked me out, but I've grown accustomed to it over the years. If I am on speakerphone with my boyfriend the cat will usually stop whatever he is doing and start doing his business with his... [more]

not much help, but i always thought wing sauce came in a bucket and they diluted it with butter or something to achieve different levels of heat.

Ask post: Good seafood restaurant in West Palm Beach, FL area?
John G's isn't open for dinner. Go for breakfast. It is cash only.

Little Moir's Food Shack is very awesome for lunch. Fresh, creative and delicious Caribbean influenced seafood dishes.

Either Spoto's location is lovely and their oysters are some of the best and most fresh in the area. Gazpacho is yummy and the muscles are good too.

Truluck's in Mizner Park (Boca Raton) is also very good. Very, very popular so be sure to... [more]

Catch a ride to the tax collectors office. Have a current, valid proof of insurance and they should let you renew right there. I think they have a late fee which you will need to pay, but you should be just fine.

Next, you would first try here to see if you are eligible to renew online. If you are, great. If not, then... [more]

Ask post: eclipse or crossfire
go for the eclipse.
my father had leased a crossfire and i hated it. poorly laid out interior and a terrible drive. incredibly difficult to get in and out of, and i'm a pretty average sized girl. i can not think of one positive thing about the car. after 2 years my dad was thrilled to see it go.

I currently live here so if you have any questions, feel free to email me.

The weather at the beginning of November will be pretty much the same as it is now. Highs in the mid 80s, lows in the high 70s. Expect rain. Humidity isn't as bad as it is during the summer, but might be more then you are used to experiencing.

I'm going to agree with several other commentators that your are best off renting a car. Although you can easily call a cab, the... [more]

the 2008 honda accord coupes are awesome.
i test drove the 2008 solara convertible recently and loved it.

either one of those, fully loaded, would be in your price range and have many of the features you are looking for. plus they get great gas mileage and hold their value.

good luck with whatever you choose.

Ask post: Books-beer-beach-bum foodie in Florida.
the fort lauderdale airport is pretty close to the beach/downtown area. you can easily catch a cab and head over to Waxy O'Connor's on SE 17th Street. It's a little Irish pub with a very decent shepherds's pie and a nice selection of beers.

Las Olas is nearby and a great spot to grab lunch and people watch (the food at Timpano is particularly good). or you can always head down to beach place and grab a drink or three at blondie's.

anyway, how about trying a sleep mask? jet blue gave me one on a recent flight and it seems to be working well when i remember to wear it.

Ask post: Dead power source? And is it fixable?
i wish i had something to offer other then my ibook G4 is doing the same exact thing. I also purchased a new cord ($80) thinking that was the problem. When it's plugged in I have to wiggle the cord a bit to make sure it is orange (charging) and not green (fully charged). Left to its own devices, I don't know what it would do. I plan on bringing it to the Apple Store when I get back from vacation. Hope you purchased the extended warranty!

Ask post: Hair Removal Cost by Method
$15 + tip for eyebrow wax or threading every two weeks.
$35 + tip for bikini wax every month.
$10 for a pack of 4 Venus disposable blades every two months. I shave my legs and armpits every other day and replace the blade every two weeks.
$20 or so every 6 weeks for a bottle of TendSkin to prevent ingrown hairs.

If it matters, I am giving serious consideration to laser treatment on the bikini line. I loathe the waxing sessions.

you can pay for it all with your Mastercard (also plugged by Mr. Manning). i will say that i find the two Mastercard commercials absolutely hilarious and will almost always stop to watch and chuckle. However, I couldn't remember if it was a Visa or Mastercard and had to google to make sure.

Tom Brady did Visa commercials.
