IPod help for a friend....
Sorry if this was asked before, I looked but didn't see it...
My friend has an IPod Nano and her laptop died. She lost her ITunes folders but still has all the music on the device.
How can she get it back without having to re-purchase all the songs? She'd afraid that when she syncs again, everything will be gone.

I am loaning my never used 1995 Altima to a friend whos car was stolen, however, whenever she turns it on, the clock on the radio and all the pre-set stations disappear!
The radio plays fine, just won't keep the data.
Any ideas?

Um, just out of curiosity, yeah, curiosity, is there an effective descrambler for digital cable?
When is was in college in the late 80's, I bought a cable descrambler from a company called Pacific Coast Cable...worked like a champ! We had all the movie channels and PPV too!
Is there anything like this available to use with say a Time Warner Digital Connection? Just out of curiosity.....

Is TIVO dying?
I was about to buy a Tivo Box (I have DVR from Time Warner and it sucks) when a friend of mine mentioned that he heard that Direct TV was dropping Tivo and hinted that the company (tivo) was hemorrhaging money. I am a little concerned that I may buy a box and service that won't exist in 6 months...
Has anyone else heard anything on this?

My boss wants to put a Plasma TV up in our lobby that will be running CNN, MSNBC, etc...
He also wants to be able to scroll internal company info accross the screen (Welcome Clients, Happy Birthday, Sales Numbers etc.)
Anyone ever done this or know how it can get done?

I cooked Pad Thai tonight and the results weren't what I had hoped for....

What ways has your company made use of technology to improve the bottom line? One of my charges as IT Manager is to find ways to use technology to make the company more profitable.
