I get sniped whenever I stop to type
I use the Sennheiser PC161 for my gaming + voice chat needs. I've been using it for a couple years and it works out great for me. Even bought another one after I stepped on the microphone of the original (don't do that).
In general, I wouldn't recommend using the microphone while having the sound coming out of your desktop speakers unless you want to annoy everyone else.

Do webcomics make money? If so, how?
From memory, the authors of Achewood, Penny Arcade, Wigu / Overcompensating, and Dinousaur Comics are all supported by their comics. I don't know what you're looking for as far as revenue generation beyond the obvioius (merchandising and advertisements), but maybe this article from Joey Manley will help.... [more]

f5: Four-Second Fury (Friday Flash Fun)
Yeah, I just played this for a couple minutes and it doesn't have anywhere near the pull of WarioWare. When I first got that it stayed in my GBA for months (although that was in a large part because of the Dr. "Wario" game included. Theres a lot of charm and replay value in WarioWare that goes beyond the idea of microgames. For starters, the staggering amount of games it contains, the tracking of high scores and level progress, the the overall production values / feel of the game.

from whence they came?
Doesn't any one else think that its at least a little bit sleazy that Fox is trying to launch a "grassroots" campaign (complete with loyalty oath) to "save" a show on its own network?

Amazing mind-reading (?) web site
Just to clarify the warning in the post, when the page "disappears", it closes my entire browser (Firefox 1.0/WinXP) including all other open tabs. Very annoying to say the least.
