Gulch: Biology! Gulch: Biology! is the section of my website where I've been sticking a few thoughts on some interesting (and some slightly disgusting) animals and plants. It's based on personal observations, outdated college textbooks, hearsay, and gossip. Gulch Guides for the Good Life After doing some extended traveling and finding out that we enjoyed reading guidebooks, my partner and I decided to use our bad spelling and basic typepad skills to create our own online guide to some of our favorite places. Somewhat limited but always expanding, our guide currently covers Portland, OR, Victoria, BC, the Mayan Rivera, and Helena, MT.
