Yahoo Small Business seems to also offer some kind of cart integration; have you looked into that?
Yeah, I just keep running into the problem of not being able to treat a "type in any amount you want for a donation" in the same way as any other shopping cart item.
Why not create an item "$1 donation to Foo" and people can just change the quantity? You're stuck with whole-dollar amounts but I can't... [more]

I just set up a mysql database and phpadmin on the server space, so looks like Yahoo lets us run php apps.

How can a local business just starting out effectively advertise?
She needs to find out what the peak business hours are for all her surrounding businesses and make sure she is OPEN during them. The other owners should be more than happy to talk about their experience in the area.
She has that covered, and she has a pretty good relationship with the business owners in her immediate shopping center area.

Is this site really the answer to our crushing real estate worries?
Where do you live and how much do you owe? Even if this isn't the solution, people may be able to suggest one with more information.
Mansfield, TX.
We owe about 136,000 on the house. Not including property taxes and homeoners insurance.

Stumbing upon people online without looking for them
I used to visitng a gaming-news website and randomly e-mailed and chatted up one of the staff members there. After talking for a while, I realized that she was someone I'd gone to pre-K/kindergarten with and hadn't seen since.

Oil, texas, etc
No basements? Where do they keep all the crap they've accumulated over the years? I mean, I've got my NeXTStation, IBM PC, and Apple ]['s in my basement, along with about 30 cans of paint, boxes full of books, tapes, junk, etc...
When I moved to Texas from New Jersey last year, I wondered the same thing. Turns out that a lot of houses here have attics tha are as spacious as basements back home.
