Other than the apple remote, what universal remote controls can be used with a Mac Mini (Intel) and, ideally, XBMC for the mac? I'd like this not to require the current XBMC hack (nifty though it is) that maps multiple presses to the functions of the remote.

A little while ago, before my last reformat, I had just found a really slick tool for generating interfaces/skeleton implementations for Objective-C classes. I can't recall the name, but it (I think) integrated with Xcode, and made programming easier.
My google-fu has failed me, here. Help me, Askme, you're my only hope!

I'm going to be doing some traveling in the near future to a part of the world with which I'm not familiar. I'm going to be in Santa Clara, CA for Eclipsecon, and I want ideas on what to do in the evenings assuming that I don't have a car and will be there from March 20 to March 23rd, leaving on the 24th.

[MovieNameFilter] A couple of years ago, I remember seeing a trailer for a movie of oriental origin -- I think it was korean, but I'm not sure -- that was a CGI/live-action giant robot movie, with a swordsman all in white doing a serious job of kicking ass (and potentially taking names, but it was all in a language foreign to me, so I'm not too sure).
Does anyone A) know what the name of this film is, B) know where I can find it, and C) know if it was translated into english, or at least subtitled?

[UmbrellaFilter] I'd like to get one of those snazzy umbrellas as seen in the Windowlicker video (by Aphex Twin). Does anyone know if it's possible, or where? For those who haven't seen the video, it's an old-fashioned-looking umbrella, white, with the logo on the cover of
Selected Ambient Works as shown in the link.

What do rich people have that we don't? To be more specific, what are the little inconveniences that the middle class/lower class/middle-rich/foo/bar have to deal with, but when you have enough money you can get around easily. I don't mean the obvious ones, I mean things like showers that you have to fiddle with to get the temperature, or razor burn.

How much does it cost (or what is the amount of electricity / volume of water used) to do one full load of laundry, as an average. Or, how would I go about getting precise figures for this? I want to know how much too much we pay to operate the pay-per-load laundry machines in our new apartment building.

[DeadComputerFilter] I just moved, and as is customary, my PC moved in a separate trip, re-boxed in its original container, and generally cared for better than even myself. Now, I plug it in, turn it on... well, almost. It just doesn't come on anymore.

Are there any alternatives to del.icio.us that A) allow private bookmarks and proper categorization, B) have simple (I'm thinking along the lines of
FoxyLicious for Firefox) and complete browser integration and C) are reasonably fast.(Gmail-type would be nice, I could tolerate slightly slower)
I have checked Furl, but I get the feeling it's not quite what I want. Hyperlinkomatic seems to be close, but the couple of times I have hit the site it hasn't been teriffically fast, and for my bookmarks that's not really acceptable. Moreover, I haven't seen anything like the above-mentioned FoxyLicious for it.

I've been thinking of upgrading the memory in my Sony Vaio PCG-GR370 laptop for some time now, but recently it came to my attention that there may be issues with some vaios that do not recognize memory above 256Mb (which is what I currently have in it). I attempted a google for issues with it, but, well... Just try search for "sony vaio memory 512" on google and you'll see how useful it is.
Which brings me to my question: Does anyone know anything about said issues with vaios? If so, do they apply to me?
