Lately, I've noticed that quite a
number of
people whose
presence I've enjoyed have disabled accounts. Are the majority of those people closing accounts leaving of their own accord?

Recently, my bike picked a fight with a car and it ended up breaking my elbow. Now I'm trying to recover as quickly as possible. Do you have any physical therapy tricks or tips?

My younger brother is starting to look into colleges. He has a knack for (and interest in) math and engineering. However, he is also a
skilled musician(QT) and
photographer. What universities or educational paths would best combine these two interests?

Is it possible to have each author on a MediaWiki have a different text color automatically? I'd like the entries of my three users to show up differently.

You Are Not Dead: A Guide to Modern Living.
Following in the footsteps of some other great artists and fucking the recording industry, I am releasing my debut album online, free. There is no multilevel merchandising plan or handcuffing DRM -- only high-quality, haunting music.
See what Dobbs had to say about it.
This album comes with a heavily illustrated PDF book, written in the style and tone of 1960's era US Government pamphlets, with instructions on how to live your life. If you want more,
the torrent has better quality MP3s.

Fight Christmas With Guns!
I heard there was
a war on; I thought I had
best do something. So I created a bunch of posters about Fighting Christmas With Guns! They are free, but you can also get t-shirts, posters, and lawn signs for a bit of cash.

Graf Paper: A Coloring Book for Graffitti Artists
In support of our Company's goal of increasing quality and quantity of graffiti everywhere, the Fakeproject Corporation of America has issued a coloring book, free of charge, which allows graffiti artists to practice their tags before application in a real world situation.
FPCoA wishes you good health and not death. Please, take some time to review
other things we've made
available.

I love the piano in Piazzolla's "Oblivion" -- and I like arrangements/recordings that focus on that part of the piece. I'd like to find an MP3/CD with such a recording.
This is the closest thing I've been able to find so far.

I'll be in San Diego, CA next week. I'd like your recommendations for military/industrial/aerospace surplus shops.
I would also appreciate any clues on clothing retailers (is there an H&M or equivalent?).

Having recently entered graduate school, I'm reading a ton of dense scientific literature. The problem is, I have no comfortable chair or other nice place to read.
What is the best chair for extended reading sessions? If you dislike chairs, where do you read?

I'm interested in fitting odd lenses -- and making custom lenses -- to/for digital cameras and digital video cameras. I'm not terribly concerned with the electronic side of things, so you shouldn't be either. What I'm looking for is a crass/crash course in optics -- something (a book, a video, a class, a kit) that will teach me the basics of optics and allow me to force photocopier lenses, telescopes, and microscopes onto unsuspecting recording devices.

I'm going to pursue a Masters/PhD in Cognitive Visual Neuroscience. I now know
how to ask for letters of recommendation - thanks - but how do I write a killer letter of intent/application essay? Alternately, what are the major mistakes/pitfalls new students make when writing such a letter? Answers need not be Psych specific.

If no, but you're in LA, can you recommend a Thai noodle shop nearby? Army surplus? Pretty sure
this is the location.

Looking for a specific PBS show, uh... filter.
I produced a sound for an in-game video, and one of my coworkers thinks I sampled it from an old (70's, early 80's) PBS show. I *did* create the sound with old PBS educational programming in mind, but not a specific show or sound.
