Yes, the guy absolutely WAS a hypocrite.

Here's a guy who choose a career that involved telling other people how they should behave: specifically, that other people should have only a tightly constrained range of sexual possibilities in their lives. He was a Dean at Liberty University: he was all about controlling other people's sexuality, and about making them feel shame about their desires.... [more]
