METAFILTER WILL KILL US ALL A fun little thingbot i made for April fools. It's a mad-lib type of site where you put people's names into the sub-domains and it creates a story. It was made to give to your friends for a laugh. The neat thing is it will grab images from flickr.com based on the words you punched in. all you have to do is type your.friends.namae.willkillusall.com into the address bar and away you go. Here's a few to get you going:

Last summer two right feet washed up on shore within a week of each other on two separate tiny islands in British Columbia. Today a third right foot has just washed up.

Squirrel song

There's the white squirrels of Exeter, and the black squirrels of London. Apparently they're both awesome if you like squirrels, or craft songs about them.

Attention: Los Angles(L.A.) I'm flying in and staying around the airport and working near the Staples center for a few days. I'd like to organize a meet up and meet some American mefites. If some one would be so kind as to pick a place and time I would love to show up and tell you stories about Canada or something.

Henchman's Helper This is a thing i was inspired to make by an active desktop item that was floating around a long time ago. The idea is this is the online version of that giant wall that the bad guys in movies, evil scientists, mad doctors etc. stare at when they plot. It's got a sinister feel to it and I am adding new modules each week.

Grand-Guignol

The Theatre du Grand-Guignol was a French theatre that was famous for one thing: bloody awful plays. The theatre produced gory plays that gauged its success by the amount of people that fainted in the audience. unfortunately due to the excessive amount of violence in their plays, they became a parody of themselves. People lost interest and the form of gore theatre was lost. until fairly recently.

The G-Cans Project

The G-Cans Project is a massive project, begun 12 years ago, to build infrastructure for preventing overflow of the major rivers and waterways spidering the city (A serious problem for Tokyo during rainy-season and typhoon season). The underground waterway is the largest in the world and sports five 32m diameter, 65m deep concrete containment silos which are connected by 64 kilometers of tunnel sitting 50 meters beneath the surface. The whole system is powered by 14000 horsepower turbines which can pump 200 tons of water a second into the large outlying edogawa river.

How do I restart Firefox with the default theme? The theme that's being used is corrupt and it blacks out all the menus. I tried to delete the current theme, but there doesn't seem to be any obvious theme folder.
