I have a friend who has to move from New York City to Vegas next week. They are renting a U-Haul 14' truck, and are comfortable driving that, but want to stay off snowy mountain roads where their confidence is not as strong. At the same time, they are under a time crunch, and have to make the drive as fast as possible.

Could Andy Warhol do his art today or would he be sued to from here to Pluto for copyright infringement? I'm talking specifically about his silkscreen paintings where he used source imagery by others (Elvis, Marilyn, the disaster series, etc.)

I am interested in reading books that contain philosophical / intellectual critiques of science or scientism. I'm particularly interested in people whose critiques are based on exploring or defining the limits of science. I'm not at all interested in partisan / political critiques of science (i.e. George Bush - please skip this question). Can anyone recommend any books?

Is there any evidence that physical laws have changed, or could possibly change over time? For example, has the speed of light - since the beginning of the universe - been the same, and will it always remain the same into the future?

My friend was just diagnosed with
Graves Disease and the doctor decided it was so serious he should immediately get radioactive iodine treatment, and he was given a 16mCi pill today. So, apparently, he is very radioactive right now, and would set off Homeland Security terror alerts in airports if he walked through.

When I was a kid, my playground (Van Dyke Park in Northern, VA) had a decomissioned military jet (T-133) in the playground...it was a lot like the picture on
this guy's site. Did anyone else have any old military hardware as part of the playground? Any pictures? I'm interested in researching this further....
