Oh hells to the yes. I've only been in Denver for like 18 days or something like that so I am all about the meeting of new peoples.

Um, folks?

Are you sure that anything will be open on 9/8? Astroland and Coney Island Park both seem to be closed that day.

I ask because I have promised myself that I'm going to make it down before everything is closed up. So I either have to venture down tomorrow, next weekend or wait until this meetup. But, yeah - I want to be sure stuff is open, yo!

bhance, if I recall correctly they are just a reseller for GeoTrust. It shouldn't impact the SSL. You'll, obviously, have to go somewhere else as yours comes up on expiration, but it should work fine until then.

Matt, anyway to code up something that would let a user manage threads they are subscribed to by virtue of their comments? Perhaps the standard could remain to automatically subscribe but on the “My Comments” page you could provide an option at each thread to “unsubscribe”?

boo_radley - sometimes I do, but it's not quite the same. I have to visit each one to check if there are new comments. Part of the beauty of "My Comments" is that it updates shows only things that have new comments - that is, after all, the reason I like it.

wackybrit - you'd be shocked how arty peole can get for no good reason. I culled through over 30k postcards sent in for a work contest because I'd come across such amazing works of art. I think the thing with PostSecret is that he gets lots and puts up the ones that are most (more?) artistic/interesting. But I have to image some of them are fake from the submission standpoint.
