Has anyone been able to successfully run Nethack or any roguelike on the Blackberry (8830)? I've exhausted my ability to find anything relevant from google later than 2004. Thanks!

In our home we have two
interesting light fixtures consisting of draped crystal pendants. They stand out a bit from the bare and somewhat boring ceiling. We'd like to add a
ceiling medallion to create a little more visual balance but I can't find one with a large enough hole. Has anyone had any luck finding a medallion with a hole diameter of 12" or so?

Is there a formal name for the logical fallacy shown by the following statement; "We don't have to worry about lead paint in our homes because we grew up in such homes and turned out fine."? Thanks.

How do you safely clean your 2nd story gutters from a steeply sloped roof?

I'm developing a custom 404 page using .htaccess to redirect to the 404.html. I'm trying to use PHP (via an include in the 404.html) to show the referring page (using $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']). This works fine. I'd also like to return the bad URL that originates the 404. Is this possible using PHP?

Looking for the name of a game I encountered on the Commodore 64 around 1987 or so. I remember it being a martial arts themed, 2 player, sidescrolling 'running race' through a series of different traps (fireballs, guillotines, etc...)

I'm looking for some good ideas for infant Halloween costumes. We have a 5 month old daughter that we'd love to dress up (mostly for the cute pictures) but we're short on ideas. I've seen all the 'cute' costumes (some into the hundreds of dollars) available for sale on various sites but none of them are striking me as particularly worth the money.

OK, I'm looking for the name of a modern technique popularly used to organize notes, tasks and projects. It's been discussed many times here and there are a couple of popular books that discuss the techniques. I believe it may be known by an acronym or initials.

70/80s sci-fi/horror movie filter: Does anyone remember a movie that was broadcast on network television in the very early 80s that involved claymation dinosaurs attacking a house and aliens that entered the house through a key-hole (?).

Name that jingle. No lyrics. I don't even know on what commercials it can be heard. It's failry old, but not that obscure. I've googled and used melody search engines but had no luck. Here's how the basic melody goes...

Greensboro, NC
, a
relatively progressive southern city, is not without it’s own
skeletons.
“On Nov. 3, 1979, Klansmen and Nazis pulled rifles and pistols from the trunks of their cars and opened fire on a group of anti-Ku Klux Klan marchers in the Morningside Homes neighborhood of Greensboro, N.C. Five of the demonstrators were killed by the bullets and several others were injured. The victims had close ties with the local Communist Worker’s Party..”
The Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Project, the first of it’s kind in the United States, using the concept of
restorative justice, “seeks to heal relations between opposing sides by uncovering all pertinent facts, distinguishing truth from lies, and allowing for acknowledgement, appropriate public mourning, forgiveness and healing.” ( a little more inside)
