radioamy is correct. To elaborate on your place in the queue, asset allocation in bankruptcy follows the Absolute Priority Rule, giving preference to:1. Secured claims
2. Debtor-in-possession claims
3. Priority claims (legal fees, wages, etc ...)
4. General unsecured claims <>
5. Preferred stock
6. Common stock.

Good Eats in Nashville, TN
I moved here for grad school this year and consider myself an avid foodie. Nashville's food scene has been somewhat of a letdown so far -- though I mostly only eat very close to campus. That said:
YesFido's: coffee house with really tasty menu though small portions
Jackson's: my second choice for lunch after Fido's
Mambu: love it
Midtown Cafe (amazing)
Tin Roof
Broadway Brewhouse: decent Cajun-style food -- its... [more]

Where can I find the historical PE ratio for a given stock market sector or industry?
Well, this might take a while, but you can get a stock's historic P/E on BigCharts.com (on the left menu bar, go to "lower indicators" and then select P/E ratio". You could adjust the chart period to quarterly or monthly, then build an aggregate for an industry by taking the major players who account for ~90% of market share (depending on industry).
On a general note, formulating composite earnings multiples is part science and part art -- like it or not,... [more]

How do I assess the value of old money?
In addition to the considerations above, you might also think about time-value compounding. To get from $5 to ~$449.59, it would only have to grow at 1.26% per year. Given that there are roughly 358 periods, a slight change in the rate can have a huge impact:
$5*(1+r)^359
1% --> $176
2% --> $5,996
3% --> $197,105
4% --> $6,264,775
5% --> $192,636,718

I want to save the world... no seriously
You should figure out what it is you really like doing and then figure out how to parlay that towards a big-impact environmental effort. For example, I naturally enjoy business so I am mastering in finance in order to help fund cleantech projects (first through an investment bank, then most likely through a private equity fund). If you talk to a number of environmental lawyers and find their work fascinating, then perhaps that route is most fitting for you.
Also, as you... [more]

Should I sell my website? What is it worth?
What is the site worth to you right now? One way to figure that out would be to get the present value of the sum of projected furutre cash flows: Using the "~$200/mo" as a starting point and building a (very) rough Discounted Cash Flow model for an explicit period of 4 years, with revenue declining by 2% per month after the first year ... and depending on the discount rate (10-20%) ... the site is worth somewhere between $3700 and $6300 (not considering your time and expenses)... I should have noted that the more time and expenses it takes to maintain the site, the less the site is (theoretically) worth.

Since this has been marked as a best answer, people reading this thread in the future should take caution:
Earnings multiples are typically applied to net income, "the bottom line" of an income statement. Valuation multiples do not get applied to the "top line", revenue/sales ($200/mo in this case). For companies without positive net income, like startups, valuation multiples are sometimes applied to lines that come higher on the income statement (on... [more]

Where should I live in the US while I go to business school?
I am ~2 months into my Msc. Finance at a business school in the South. The quality of life in the city was a significant factor in my decision on which school to attend. I am a bit surprised to say that I have had very little outside-school time to enjoy it. Therefore, I would echo the comments above: choose a program that fits what you want to do is paramount. Talk to people who actually go to the schools you are looking at. And also, don't undersestimate the importance of a strong career... [more]

You might want to look at 2-way satellite internet access (like WildBlue). It costs between $50-80/mo & equipment fees are around $200 -- pricing that's roughly comparable to using a cell phone, but with faster access.

Crazy CPU usage only at one wireless location
I also have a z60t that has been behaving obscenely lately.
I thought Windows XP had turned bad from crap I had installed, so I blew that away and did a "reset to factory" re-install + all updates, including IE7. Terrible performance. Disabled Automatic Updates. Still terrible performance.

So yeah, I isolated the poor performance to the wireless network adapter, a Thinkpad 11a/b/g Wireless Mini PCI Express Adapter (manufactured by Atheros). I disabled/enabled the device, which seemed to fix it, then went one step further and rolled to the driver version 5.3.0.35. Seems to be behaiving normally again, even after a couple of powercycles.
Hopefully you've already figured this out, but if not, give it a try!

Linear Blended Housepaint
For the best looking result you should create a high-res file with the gradient you want and get it printed as wallpaper on a wide format printer. This will not be the cheapest option though: expect to pay anywhere between $6 and $12 per square foot.

... actually I've learned that if you print the wall like its a billboard you can do it for $1.50 per sq ft or less. This would certainly be cheaper than hiring someone as suggested above.

Well for anyone who stumbles across this thread later:
- This was not normal wear-and-tear; All lithium-ion batteries have System Management Bus (SMBus) circuits which regulate their charge, and the one on this battery failed.
- IBM/Lenovo would not cover the problem.
- The Buyer's Assurance Plan on my credit card however does extend the mfg warranty by 1 year and is reimbursing me for a battery replacement.
