There's a Toast and a Dinosaur BBQ are up in the neighborhood of 125th/Broadway, which is accessible to the 1, the A/B/C/D, and M60 coming across town from Astoria. I'd love to do another UWS meetup anywhere though :)

I feel that there's a precious gray area (no, not THIS gray area) in AskMe posts where the questioner has left some ambiguity about her purposes and the answers may be tilted slightly.

As a graduate student in computational science, I'm probably qualified to lead a low-level class in Numerical Methods, Scientific Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Calculus, Linear Algebra, or something along those lines.

Though I don't know how interesting any of those topics are to anyone besides me.

And I'd rather see somebody with a bit more experience step up.
