Indians- Why and How?

What are MeFi's favorite resources about American Indian law? I'm a fairly well-read person on the letters of the law- I read the appropriate journals and legal briefs- but I'd like a more comprehensive set of rhetoric about the native peoples of the Americas.

The Challenge of Global Health

The Challenge of Global Health is an article written in the most recent Foreign Affairs, describing how "stovepiping" health care funding towards only HIV/AIDS, the shortage of health care workers in the West, and a vacuum of international health-care experts are all causing great damage to developing countries. The article was written by Laurie Garrett, author of The Coming Plague, Betrayal of Trust, as well as a Pulitzer Prize winner for her writing on Ebola. Previously on mefi: garrett resigns, comments on world leaders.

Getting into Grad School

I dropped out of elementary school, junior high, high school, and three colleges. Despite this, I've managed to always get good jobs and earn a fair amount of money. My question is this:

How do I get into grad school (Masters, Ph.D., M.D., whatever) without having any other sort of degree? All semi-reasonable ideas would be awesome.

Origin of the phrase "parts is parts"

"Parts is parts". Have you ever heard this phrase? I acquired a few bumper stickers from a thrift store on the Oregon coast with said phrase on it- I thought it was funny. It was packed in with stickers making fun of Reagan, Qaddafi, Khomeni, and so forth. It's got to be from something, doesn't it? Do you know what?
