Swipe to Click
This project is a new utility for Windows that makes it possible to use the mouse without clicking the buttons. It is intended for people who find clicking uncomfortable, want to make their mouse use less noisy, or who would like to make their computer use a little slower and more conscious. The linked site gives a full description of how the program is used which might be interesting for people with a general interest in UI ideas.

Type to Click
This is a Windows utility that provides a quick way to access mouse functions in situations where keyboard shortcuts are unavailable or inconvenient to use. Activating a keyboard shortcut causes a grid of letters to appear that overlays the screen. This can then be aligned with the item of interest if necessary, after which typing any three consecutive letters on the grid generates a mouse click centered on the middle letter. If you hate tabbing through things to get to what you want, this could be for you.

Clutter Cloak
This is a little anti-distraction app I've been working on. When activated with a hotkey it obscures everything on the display except the pane directly under the mouse pointer. This is the only program of its type I have seen that actually screens out UI elements within a top level window. I find this makes it a lot easier to concentrate on reading and writing, hopefully it will be useful to someone else as well.
