I am looking for a quote that I heard or read recently, something along the lines of "It is pointless to struggle against overwhelming injustice; it is worse not to struggle against it" or "You ask how it is that I can expend effort fighting against an unchangeable, unjust system? I ask how it is that you can live with not doing so." I'm looking for the exact quote, and the book or essay or what-have-you in which it originally appeared that I can read for some context.

Help me find a series of fantasy books (NOT the Gor series) I read in the 1980s about an Earth man periodically teleported by mysterious god-like beings/aliens to dangerous situations on another planet, which had a swords-and-sorcery tech level. He spent years on this other planet, built a life there, etc. Over 30 books in the series, I think.

I want recommendations for good headphones and a microphone (or headphones and microphone and adapter(s)) that work well for VOIP on my computer, and with regular office telephones, and to listen to music on my computer.

Voter Protection Center
You know how you're supposed to call 866-OUR-VOTE if you're having some problem - whether machine, or human error, or whatever - with voting in a US election? The people on the other end use
EIRS (the Election Incident Reporting System) to record the problems, to gather more-than-anecdotal evidence of problems. Over 40,000 incidents in
2004; far fewer in
2005, when fewer people voted and we didn't advertise as much.
