Try "one ring". The search won't always give the desired result, but you'll know it when you see it.

How bout that voting rights act hummm?
*coughBipartisanoppositioncough*
Smedleyman - the bipartisan opposition noted in the article is to weakening the Voting Rights Act. It's not bipartisan opposition to the Voting Rights Act.
There is bipartisan support for renewing the Voting Rights Act, but according to all the links so far in this thread, only a subset of Congressional Republicans are opposing the renewal.

Apparently KTRS had the technology to keep Lenihan's tongue-slip from being broadcast, but someone screwed up:
"Station chief Tim Dorsey confirmed the station does broadcast on a seven-second delay, but the button used to delete questionable material was never activated. At KTRS, Dorsey said, it is the host's responsibility to alert a technician when he wants to use the delay device... Lenihan, who had been with the station a week and a half, said he was never told... [more]

Frogan , your quotes are taken out of context, and are from incidents at three different precincts. The tester(s) go in and ask for complaint forms; they never say they actually have a complaint to file. No, they say they're only taking cartoons from Jews. ("we’ve asked for Jews joking about Jews", "this time drawn by Jews themselves!"). I thought I saw something else on their page saying so even more explicitly weeks ago, but maybe I was imagining it.

"Have you read all these books?"
A post on Crooked Timber about race-based casting in films and TV led me to the story behind Ellison's story which led me to the phrase "Have you read all these books" in Ellison's story. Which gave me pause. The response Ellison's character gives is the same one he claims he gives.

Quitting Drinking Dogmatically
There are at least 2 different prominent Black Muslim groups in the area; and according to the San Francisco Chronicle:
"On Saturday, members of the Nation of Islam joined elected officials and a group representing Middle Eastern convenience store owners to condemn the vandalism."

Based on folks from the local NOI condemning this criminal behavior, and the folks from Yusuf Bey's group not doing so, this looks much more likely to be a story about a local "Black Muslim" group, not affiliated with the NOI, committing violence.
The story behind that group would've made a better post, and I'm suprised you didn't include some of it, ScottMorris, so as to head off a bunch of talk about the NOI:

Deafening silence over GAO e-voting report, new evidence of abuse.

With a voter-verified paper trail, when the voter votes, they see the receipt before it's collected, and verify that it matches what they input on the voting machine. If multiple voters at a polling place see problems, you know there's a problem with the voting machines there, and act accordingly... [more]

talitha_kumi, I'm not familiar with the UK voting system; but some quick online searches suggest it's in flux now, with experiments in evoting and voting by mail. If you've got sources worth looking at online that describe your system well, I'd appreciate 'em.

Maybe BitTorrent could tell them that someone downloaded the full torrent of all FIA videos, but it wouldn't tell them how many people watched just the first video and gave up on French, and how many watched all of them; that's information that is good to have. The current system is a little unfair in the same way the U.S. economy is unfair; those with less resources have access to fewer useful things. Putting the videos online, where those with broadband - whether at home, at a cafe, at a library, at a community center, or at school - can access them makes things more fair. It would be great if they didn't have to worry about copyright, and redistribution, and such; but the way things work in the educational video funding world, they do. It would be... [more]

Faure Gnassingbe
I thought the greatest problem that Africa faced was debt incurred by previous bad leaders loaned money by bad lenders who knew the money would be effectively stolen.
Many of the loans which are being re-paid were made during the Cold War to repressive regimes and corrupt leaders, who used the money to strengthen their rule or to line their own pockets. Many more loans were made without attention to the viability of planned projects or to the capacity of the recipient country to make... [more]
