What the hell do you people do for work that you can sit on the internet all day like
this?

Sorry if I've offended. Let's bring disagreements here.

This is the thread where we say that the "add favorites from page" icon being tested rocks.

Lately, we seem to do
a lot of googling-and-posting of whatever personal info we can find. It's publicly available stuff, but it's
proven to be a pretty powerful tool for getting to people, and it seems like using that power often might lead us down
a certain road we might not want to take. Should there be some kind of guidelines or boundaries?

This had me thinking: wouldn't it make sense to have "needs 'more inside'" as a reason when flagging posts? I flagged it, but had to put "other;" and, if memory serves, plenty of good first-time posters have had their first threads derailed by the first few "whoa! muddying up the front page there!" comments.

I grant that my first
comment in
this thread was a little troll-ish, and I'm sorry about that. I probably contributed a pretty bad atmosphere to the discussion there. But was
this really warranted?

Just a tiny request-- could
this be converted to a "more inside" post w/ a spoiler warning? It seems like the best thing to do. This is no callout, an honest mistake, but it'd be nice to fix it quick...

Is a
triple post okay if you
knew it
was one? (The person who posted this must have known, since the
search included in the post shows it.) Is it okay if there are a few more links included this time, and the text is on a different site now? Finally, is it okay if the goal is simply to elicit more discussion on the topic, as it seems to be here?
