What do you think is fun in Quebec City?
I liked the falls also. Mostly disappointed in the food.
I did have a a spectacular meal at Le Moine Echanson on rue Saint-Jean. These people love food and wine and it truly shows. The plates were works of art and the flavors did not disappoint. A tiny place so make a rez.

Look at the birds, they sow not, yet they eat
About 25 years ago I was thinking about this whole suitcase of money thing and knew I would freak out if it happened. So I settled on something...less. I decided to try and manifest a pile of wood. I was really a bit vague about it, couldn't decide if it should be cut and stacked outside my door or if I should just go for long poles that I would cut and split. I was dedicated in spite of being vague. After about two weeks of this a neighbor I hadn't met called to me as I walked past, "Hey,... [more]

He peed in the vent. What do I do now?
I had good results with Nature's Miracle for this same problem. I pulled the register (grill) out of the floor and after mopping up the excess wiped it down with Nature's Miracle. I only have this problem in the winter and turn the registers upside down to discourage it from happening. Cold and icy outside; inside- a hole with warm air blowing on your bum... hard to blame her really.

Itty, bitty, teeney, tiny chicken...how does one cook this?
Well, it does seem you have sorted this out. I love stuffing these small birds but that may be further than you want to go.
Normally I can tell when the bird is done because the juice runs clear when you stick a knife into the leg joint. The joke goes like this: cook it until the leg joint is loose then take it out fifteen minutes earlier. An hour at 350 maybe too long.

How do I learn to use a Wacom tablet to make digital art?
You can do it now.
Take your spidey cartoon and slip in under the plastic plate, then trace it. I am sure that is what Missfeldt is doing it that video. Most books on drawing the figure/comics will show quite a different process than the one you see there.

Coffee, anyone?
Sounds like you are headed in another direction but I have been in the same situation for years and the coffee cones simply do it for me. We pop that 1 cup cone on a little pitcher and make multiple cups when the in-laws descend. The cone and a box of filters take up nearly no space. We buy a nice ground coffee, stick it in the freezer and we are ready.

Assume that I don't want to make gin
We were in the same situation a year and a half ago. We couldn't find a tub that was roomy enough for a shower that would fit in our tiny space. We left your question alone and just built one out of concrete and tile. Kind of half shower half tub. Works really well as a shower, easy to get into and I don't feel cramped. As a tub, it takes alot of water and you can really submerge yourself. They say on various diy sites not to do this but we have no problems with it.

Bulging disc but no back pain
Wish I could remember where I just read that something like 70% of bulging disks self-correct. This may not be true but the chances of interventions leading to more interventions is good.

He's Not My Brother, Dammit.
My wife and I get this a fair amount- that is, "Are you brother and sister?" The first time this happened to us was early in our relationship and she had just finished telling me, "I don't know why we are together. We don't have anything in common." Then the cashier says....
I think people sense a deep connection and sometimes go there. This may be no disrespect.
I suggest gazing into each other's eyes with dreamy smiles and saying, "No."

Help designing a water wall or weeping wall
There is bound to be a pond supply store near you. They could offer more suggestions for keeping the pond clean and hassle free than you can get here. Google for pond forums; someone has already done this, you know they have.
Many pumps will tell you quite clearly how many gph at what lift. The suggestion that you do an actual pour, say, a gallon bucket spilled over your wall over a minute will give you some idea as to what range you want your pump to be in.... [more]

There are better answers but here is mine:
The true answer will be subtle and non-verbal. It is not readily apparent. The question you are asking is moving you along the path and you may need to ask it for quite a long time. There is a [deeper] motive force, the trick is to find it within yourself. I suspect in true Buddhist fashion if you ever get to name it or even, say, recognize what it feels like, you will be moving off the mark.

Help me de-vole my garden. Humanely.
I dealt with gophers quite successfully with a mixture of castor oil and a little soap. I did not spend any where near $200.
Recipe
about an inch of castor oil in one of those sprayers you hook up to a garden hose, with just enough soap that it foams a little.
Spray it into the ground (and yes, you are driving the bastards away, not killing them). For added satisfaction spray into any holes you find.
We kept them out of... [more]

Keep the Money? Share the Money? Stupid Money.
Either choice could haunt you. There is no clear consensus in this thread because the situation is ambiguous morally. There is some good advice if you decide to share. How much weight do you put on your declaration to share with Fred? Was it a promise? That you can use the money will make you less clear. Residual feelings about your break up can make you less clear. Which path feels more settled to you?

Will Sunrider Take Me For A Ride?
I used sunrider products at a low level for a few years(!) a long time ago. I do not feel that it fundamentally affected my health one way or another. It certainly did not boost my immune system. If I was looking for herbal supplements now I would research my own combos. The good diet will get you the farthest.

For years my job as a caterer was all about crisis managment. There was always a fire to put out(!). This could be the wedding cake no-show, finding the circuit breaker in the museum or (a favorite) finding the shut off for the lawn sprinklers in the middle of an outdoor reception. Crisis managment was never specifically part of the job description.

Aside- Lonely Planet Guide suggested a day trip where you take a bus out to a not too far ruin from Cusco and hike back to Sacsayhuaman. A rock and a hard place for sure. How can you change her behavior? I am not sure you can. What you can change is your attitude. Don't save it for anything. Use it extravagantly. There is so much paper there. A roll of brown paper has been part of my basic supplies for years and years. When I was a sculptor I made patterns for the canvas sculptures I made. Having a hugh supply can also lead to creative wrapping of presents. You will get used to having it around and uses arise if you stay aware.
