"More Inside" is great and all, but perhaps it's time for absolute
length limits in AskMe? Brain-dump essays like those (2600 and 1500 words!) don't help people answer, and all those posts need is some judicious editing before posting.

I just went to remove a favorite, and while it successfully removes it, it continues to redirect to the same URL forever. It looks like the "add favorite" link for posts (but not comments) tries to do the same thing, but stops after one reload to tell me that the favorite has already been added.

AskMe is hanging half-rendered, with the status bar reading "Connecting to static.fmpub.net...", which, indeed, is not accepting connections.

Sign my petition! It's generated a big discussion, but I'm thinking that maybe a link to a blog that links to a petition might not be mefi material, especially from someone who has an interest (

Missing pony: Author information in RSS feeds. According to
this earlier metatalk thread, the RSS feeds should contain the name of a post's author in the appropriate field, but there are no such tags showing up in
the feed. Was that pony stillborn? Can it be revived?
