MeTa post:
Dallas meetup, Feb. 16
FINALLY off work on a Saturday - if I didn't have rehearsal for my singing group that night, I'd go!
Dang it ALL.
But hey, if anyone wants to hear the fruits of our labors, my singing wenches group is performing at Four Winds Faire near Tyler, TX the first two weekends in March. You can come judge and see if it was worth me missing yet another MeFi meetup.

What the fuck is the secret for getting people to come out?
So the only thing preventing me from making a joke about my coming out is that I can't think of a good one. You're welcome.
As for coming out to party; I work nights and weekends. Sucks to be me!
I know a fun karaoke bar, though, that does the 'oke on Wednesday nights, if anyone's ever interested. It's in Dallas.

Dream? Stream? whatever.
I always read these names correctly but they're way funnier when they are wrong, so I'm gonna go with reading everyone's names wrong from now on.

Where my stitches at?
I keep wobbling on the fence to join. I don't need another obsession but MAN I LOVE KNITTING.

I knit with superwash though, so...I guess I am really stuck.

San Antonio anyone? I'm wrapping up a library...
Ah, dang. I left San Antonio two years ago.
However, I second getting off of the Riverwalk for good Mexican food. And Mi Tierra is pretty good (haven't done La Margarita but imagine as they're sister spots, that it will also be good).
My favorite Mexican place, though...well, actually it's Tex-Mex...Martha's, at the corner of Broadway and Loop 410. Casual dining and great food, at least two years ago it was.

I've been nudged enough - by more than a few...
Hm. Sounds fun to me! Wonder if a meet in the middle option is viable, though - what's between Dallas and Ft. Worth that might be able to handle a bunch of MeFites?

The airport?
I left myself wide open for that one. Hee.
I wish I knew the area better, the only place I can recommend with any authority whatsoever is one that'll get me shot by most of the wait staff if I suggest it. ;)

Crowds stay to cheer bride Grace: Cheering crowds...
So lovely - reading that story brought delighted tears to my eyes. As if one's wedding weren't memorable enough to begin with, then you get a giant ovation! Wow!
My congratulations to that radiantly happy couple - many blessings on you and yours for all the rest of your long, long days.
