why are racist questions allowed on netatalk
I find it really hard to believe that a person living in the United States would be unfamiliar with the stereotype about blacks and dogs.
I hadn't. The first I knew of it was when I was living in a mixed neighborhood with my dog. And even then I didn't know it was a general stereotype until now, I had thought maybe it was something about that city in particular.

Don't Mess With "Don't Mess With Texas"
My commonwealth (KY) has "Unbridled Spirit" on its plates now. It makes me think of two things: 1.) unbridled bullshit and 2.) bareback sex.
Look, we've been in therapy for years over that whole "united we stand, divided we fall" crap. It's just going to take a while to construct a new vision of ourselves as independent and strong and whole and we're taking baby steps and trying to forget about that whole... [more]

Sometimes there would be other work and it might go to 20 or even 25. Then the company offshored (we'd known this was coming) and I was laid off.
I almost never posted from work, but read almost everything I could without following the links.
Now, of course, I'm unemployed,... [more]

A flag is a flag, I think that jessamyn is smart enough to be able to tell when a commenter neglected to read.
Yeah, but there'd be a tiny bit of emotional satisfaction found in the use of a "commenter can't read" flag. I've often thought of coming to MeTa to request a flag like that. Venom isn't allowed on AskMe, so it's got to go somewhere, and I fear one day there'll be a snark explosion in my house set off by someone answering a question... [more]
