How can I best set up a question regarding furniture rearrangement (in terms of spatially rearranging things, with measurements) on the Internet, and is Ask Mefi the best source or are there other communities that would be better? Are there Flash tools that let you post furniture floorplans and let others come and rearrange things? Alternatively, for advice simply on arrangement of furniture, how much might a professional's advice be, and would an interior decorator be the profession to turn to? (Do they still call themselves interior decorators? It seems a '70s term.)

Website help: I'm asking for some input on (1) straightening out a problem with Google and its "description" for each page of my blog; (2) constructing a robots.txt exclusion for certain types of archive pages; and (3) the reason why something is looking for page URLs that have "function.fsockopen" at the end of them.

I recently bought a Sonicare. I like how it makes my teeth feel cleaner than they had been, and anecdotal evidence from others suggests it's going to help my gums. But I really can't figure out how the toothpaste works with this thing.

Are there alternatives to the lotus position for classic meditation that don't leave the back unsupported? I've found that sitting in an unsupported position, or in a chair that doesn't have a seat back, ends up making my back ache rather strongly. I've thought about investigating meditation (and looking into the more classical, early practices), but have wondered if there's a "kosher" (accepted in the discipline) way of doing the more classical meditations while having your back completely supported (by lying on the ground, or doing it in a chair, or what have you).

Is there a Firefox extension — preferably a Firefox 2 extension — that will alter Firefox's copying behavior so that, when you copy something, it is copied to the clipboard (or pasted from the clipboard) as its HTML, instead of plain text?

Slightly weird one: I occasionally get what I think is a psychosomatic sinusache. It seems to be induced by looking at a sharp edge or point, and perhaps happens to me once every one or two weeks. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this, and/or has any input into what's going on (mentally or physically) and any fixes or things that alleviate what's going on. As always,

Many adjectives used to describe overweight men in a nonoffensive manner can also be used to describe muscular men (
i.e. stout, beefy, etc.). What are some adjectives that describe, with a positive or neutral connotation, the state of being both male and overweight, but that are not used (or at least not

I have what is to me an extremely complex thing that I would like JavaScript on a webpage to do. It's related to
this question I asked previously, but I've added a new complication. I understand that this may sound fairly customized. I have a feeling, though, that for someone who programs Javascript, these issues are probably both extremely common and extremely simple, which is why I'm asking here ... since perfecting this quirk could really help my efficiency.

I'm working my way through the Bible. At the moment, I'm towards the end of Numbers. The past few books have been very heavy with detailed instructions on the various blood rituals God requires of his people — which animals to sacrifice, what manner to do it in, and lots of blood-splashing on the sides of the tent.

I have Mac OS X, with its Unix underpinnings. I have a number of text files through which I did a search-and-replace. Unfortunately, that altered all of the timestamps on the files. I'm trying to restore things via the "Date Created" info.

I'm seeking examples of a full orchestra backing up singers (not necessarily the original ones) doing famous non-classical (pop, rock, etc.) songs traditionally known without that orchestration. For example, "
Hurricane 2000," or

Why does Wellbutrin cause weight loss? Even my doctor doesn't seem to know for sure. Are there unproven medical hypotheses or studies amongst doctors or pharmacists or anyone else that lean towards an as-yet-unofficial answer? (Feel free to get technical. If I don't understand, I'll Google.)

In Microsoft Word (I'm using Word 2002), automatic numbering is when the application numbers items, not you. I've run into a problem with navigating these items. If I am in, say, a 900-item document that's been manually numbered, I can use 'Find' to locate item no. 475. Is there a way to conduct such a search when automatic numbering is in effect, aside from paging through the document?

I seem to remember a cartoon (might've been a Looney Tune, with Daffy perhaps?) from my youth in which a pirate song that ends up with "yo ho ho and a bottle of rum" was sung, but it ended instead with a conga-beat rhythm that went something like "yo ho ho and a bottle of" (and here's where the conga beat came in) "rum and apple cid-ER / rum and apple cid-ER / rum and apple cid-ER" (with the 'ER' being the beat). It's an obscure vague memory at the outreaches of my childhood, but that "rum and apple cid-ER" has become a real earworm for me the past few days. Any idea where this little comedy bit came from, and if it's on one of the online video services?
