My pal Jeff 'Hotlicks' Gulley and I recorded this tune one afternoon. 'Hotlicks' called it a day and left but the song just didn't sound finished so I hit record and started singing. This is what we were left with.

I'm putting together a FPP about a certain inimitable cartoonist. I've found a place that has a lot of said cartoonist's strips available to view online. Great! But I'm concerned about linking to it because it's a commercial site. Pros: It's the most extensive collection of this artist's work online as far as I can tell. Cons: They're selling something. I'd like to include the page in my FPP but I'm not sure if it would be appropriate.

This is a song from the concept band Heroes that Hurt. My roommate writes the lyrics, in which he explores the futility of super-love. Then we all get together and set them to music. This one is about the Green Lantern.

Here is a mellow bossa nova flavored tune with a bit of a free jazz outro that I recorded with my friend and principal musical co-conspirator Jeffrey "Hawtlixxx" Gulley. Our friend Zach, who is in a really great band called Telenovela btw, provided the atmospheric guitar drone in the background. This is one of my favorite home recordings so I hope you enjoy it.
