I am looking for any examples of the use of "robot voice". For example, early 80's electro, the famous Robby the Robot, or "robot voice" used for artistic purposes such as

A friend recently gave me a pair of used Sennheiser HD - 600 headphones. Plugged directly into the back of my computer they sound very meh. So I'm guessing they need an amp. What are some of the best at the best price that will work with my computer?

When I was a kid, sometimes I would take a word (any word) and repeat it over and over in my head. After a few repetitions, the word would lose all meaning and sound strange and goofy, like it was a completely foreign word to me. Thing is, this doesn't happen anymore. I can repeat the word for hours and it just remains the original word. Has something happened to my brain?

Recently I have been getting back in shape. I want to add some weight lifting to my routine but not a lot. I have done it before and I am just not motivated enough to do the alternate days thing, but I enjoy the benefits of strength training. So what are some of the best all around exercises that I could do that would give me the best all body workout in the least time?

I recently upgraded an old Mac G4 733mhz to iTunes 7. Yeah, big mistake. Beachballs galore. Is there a way to switch back to the previous version? Or could I install a faster processor (If I had read the system requirements it called for 1 ghz chip or faster)? This is a secondary computer that was basically used as a music player, so some light tinkering would be acceptable.

I have one of those help me figure out this vaguely remembered movie questions. I would be so happy if someone got this but since I was around ten years old or so when I saw it, I have my doubts. Here goes - I remember that there were three guys as the main characters. They were something like secret agents. (For some reason I have one of them looking like Richard Dawson from the opening credits of Hogan's Heroes. They all wore that kind of outfit). They were on a mission to some island that was run by a mysterious man and woman. There was a castle or haunted house on the island.They had to uncover some mystery on this island. The one part I remember clearly was a scene where they kept hearing a baby cry during the night and then there was a scene where they discovered some secret room on the basement of the castle/haunted house. I'm guessing the movie was made in the late sixteies early seventies. Any ideas? All help greatly appreciated. ( I have had other half remembered movies that I have been able to find using Google or IMBD, but this one has eluded me)

Why does everyone assume Tom Cruise is gay? Call me naive, but I have never understood this. Yeah, I get that he is a batshitinsane Scientoligist. But what has he ever done to make people assume he is gay and all of his wives/girlfriends are just beards?

I am having an annoying problem with Safari. Say I scroll down a webpage and click on a link that takes me to a new page, when I hit the back button, the original page loads from the top and can take up to 5-6 seconds to jump back down to the original place. Do I have a preference set wrong?

I am having an incredibly annoying problem with my cable tv. When I try to change channels, the info box at the bottom of the screen will start to scroll very rapidly for 20 or 30 seconds. This happens at random, but seems to occur mostly at night.

Video enthusiasts please help. I am trying to help my dad sell a used video camera. Canon L-2 hi 8 with pretty much every attachment/lens available. 2x extender, 3x zoom, 8x, 10x w/stabilizer, 15x, and 250mm super tele reflex lens. Is ebay my best bet? And is there a website that would help me determine the value of this eqipment?

I have two niggling little problems with my mac. First, the screensaver comes on when my mac is idle. I know about my control panels, and the screen saver is, and always has been, set to never. My desktop pic also changes at startup and it too is set to never. Also, when I drag a picture from a website to my desktop, using safari, I get a jpeg icon on my desktop. When I use explorer, the image is a viewable thumbnail. Upgrading to Tiger didn't help. Any ideas?

Whenever I watch a show like cops, I notice that the police always seem to know what direction they are headed (ex. "suspect is heading east on franklin, turned north on vine"). Even when they are on foot they call out directions on their handheld radios. I don't see them with a compass. So how do they know what direction they are going?
