Shuttercal: The Daily Photography Project
ShutterCal is a new, calendar based photography site. Members are given a calendar, linked to the sites community, and encouraged to upload one daily photo. The image and subject matter you select is up to you, but the idea is clear- documenting one image for every day of your life will leave you with an impressive visual history to look back on. As time passes you will have an interesting window into the happenings of every single day. You will remember people you have met, and places you have been. Your photography skills will improve dramatically, with daily practice, and the encouragement of many others involved in their own calendar projects.

NYC Google Earth Mega Pack
Here's a Google Earth placemark collection I've made for my own pleasure, and am finally sharing with the world. It contains a bunch of useful NYC resources. It's mass-transit-centric, with lots of other fun things thrown in like community districts with neighborhood names, local radar overlays, and parade routes. Add it as a network link so you can refresh and get updates, and let me know if you have ideas for additions.
