Putting the Moo Back in Muesli
I'll third--Alpen Muesli is the way to go. It comes in the "Original" which has sugar or "No Added Sugar". I'd first try the Original and see if you like it. Lucky for me, my local grocery store sells both kinds!

help me tame my feral hair!
Hairclip snob here.....I highly recommend France Luxe hairclips (jaws). The company makes high quality hair accessories. I have had the same hair clip for 6 years-It's held up for all these years without breaking (and I have not lost it). I am sure you could find something that would work for your hair, give them a call and explain your needs.

West Side Physical Therapy is extremely good. Some of their clients are professional ballet dancers and professinal athletes---I highly recommend them.

MP3 my voicemails
Plug a mic to the computer, play the voice recordings over the phone, while at the same time, hold the mic up to the ear piece of the phone and record with the "sound recorder" application that is included in XP. Worked for me when i had to record some messages from my answering machine. Hope this helps.

Is cayenne pepper & hot paprika the same thing?
Just to let you know, the hot paprika that I have at home is indeed from Kalyustan's. I'll give it a try, as a few people have commented that it is hot, hot, hot!!! Thanks for sharing your all your knowledge and advice! If it does not do the trick, I'll go out and get me some authentic cayenne pepper.

Ring removal
I second the Windex suggestion. All the jewelry stores I've been to have supplied me with it as soon as they noticed I was having trouble taking a ring off when I was shopping. It works.

How do I get a Sainsbury's-style cookie outside London?
Best chewy soft home baked chocolate chip cookies in NYC, check out Levain Bakery at 167 West 74th, right off of Amsterdam. It's a tiny store, where they do all the baking right in front of you. Absolutely Yummy--you can hardly finish one cookie because they are so big and rich.

hoping to find some good authors
Check out Book Lust by Nancy Pearl. It gives hundreds of suggestions for books according to whatever topic you want or mood you are in. Excellent addition to your library as a quick reference for chosing a book to read.

Improving memory and concentration skills?
A huge benefit of doing YOGA is that it "quiets the mind", and gives you the ability to focus on things that you deem necessary. you just have to practice, practice, practice. Yoga is a huge help to sharpen your mental acumen.

What should I wear when I'm running?
This site, http://www.justrunit.com/, tracks the progress of one guy's goal to run the NYC Marathon. He went from not being in shape to completing the whole 26.4 miles in 2004. He has a daily log of his runs leading up to the event, as well as his thoughts and experiences.
