If you're making mistakes in a submitted post, you are likely to make mistakes in subsequent revisions. Your mistakes will compound with each revision until your post is so incredibly riddled with typos, errors and omissions that your posts will be mocked into deletion by the grammar guard.

Ubuntu is a livecd, meaning you can boot to it from the CD without touching your hard disk. This is a great way to test things to make sure everything works before committing to a hard disk install. I would encourage you to download the ISO from ubuntu.com, burn it with CloneCD and boot to it. If you don't like it or there's a hardware problem, just reboot, eject the CD and you're right back in Vista. Evstar, I have to disagree about the practice pads. I think a practice pad set might be a great idea for a professional or student drummer who is stuck in an apartment or dorm, but given that a practice pad set is $130 and this set with cymbals, throne, stands and kick pedal is only $500, I think I'd just go ahead and get the set. Check this out.

No, sorry, mullingitover. In my opinion that comment is a good argument for why actors, directors, etc. are not entitled to a percentage, but not why writers are. I am not entitled to a percentage of my industrial employer's profits, so why is this commenter suggesting this is a "basic right"?

If that's the case, then the video poster's argument about the $billion youtube lawsuit is completely unrelated to the strike, correct? Because the youtube lawsuit is about copyright violation, not full broadcast fees. He's using it as a means to establish value, but the lawsuit is establishing value on the copyright, not the actual content.... [more]

Everyone's all pissed off about my assertion that entire chapters can sometimes be posted on the internet under fair use.
According to this document, it's sketchy, but as long as it's for educational purposes and posted to a secure server with the intention of replicating normal classroom distribution it's fair use. My unresearched, vague, uninformed statement wins!

I hope it gets canceled. Conan and Andy need to reunite when Conan takes over the tonight show.
Conan is probably funny, but I've never appreciated him solo. His antics seem repetitive and cheesy. But Andy brought a true sense of improv to the show. Together they are better than the sum of their parts. When together, I really had a sense as the show was being made up on the spot.
I'm sure no matter what happens, Andy will be a frequent guest.
