For a friend: Can I bring a pack of hot dogs on a plane to China? That is, are there any regulations that would prevent me from doing so, and will they still be good after ~36 hours? They're Hebrew National all-beef, and I'd put them in cargo.

What user-created playlists do you follow on MeFi Music? My playlist is just a dumping ground for anything that I've liked, but I figure that someone has to have made more specific ones (e.g., favorite singer-songwriter tunes, great jazz vocalists, best love songs, etc.).

iTunes puts cover art in one of two places: embedded within the MP3s, or in a separate folder (~/Music/iTunes/Album Artwork). I prefer the latter. Is there a program that will take the embedded cover art out of my files and store it in the Album Artwork folder instead? I'm on an Intel Mac.

CSSFilter: In my Wordpress theme, enclosing text in <blockquote> tags gets rid of all the line breaks. I don't want to go back and put <br /> tags all over the place; what can I change in the CSS to make it so that, when I hit return a couple of times, it shows up as a blank line when I publish my posts?

I know that if you want to sell a CD with cover songs on it, you have to get permission from the artist/copyright holder. But what about if you just want to record covers and make them available for free? For fun, I'd like to record myself playing some covers and put 'em up on
Ourmedia, but I want to stay on the good side of the law.
