Heyyylup! I just got some butter on my new suit. It's all synthetic material, dry clean only. Is there anything I should to between now and when I can get to a dry cleaner in the morning?
It was a nice lemon-sage-garlic butter, it truly was. But I do wish it was not on my suit.

The word "pictured" means to imagine the way something looks. Is there a similar

Mefi lawyers, how efficiently do you bill? On a day where you have no non-billable obligations, what's your ratio of hours billed to hours in the office (including lunch)? I'm at about 80% on a really good day, and I'm not sure if I should be aiming to improve that.

Can anyone with knowledge of Pakistani politics tell me what's going on with the lawyers' protests? Are the protesting lawyers part of a particular political faction, or are they protesting as a profession in general? Is there anything being done by the legal profession world wide to support them, even symbolically?

Last night I ordered the "grilled shrimp" at a trendy restaurant and it ended up being a single unshelled langostino (basically, a very big prawn). It was delicious, but how was I supposed to eat it? I just dug in with my fingers, the way they do in Spain.

Avid readers: In twenty years, am I going to regret the fact that I only checked books out of the library, rather than amassing my own collection? I read about a book or two a week, and my budget could stand buying 3-4 used books a month.

Normally I would just flag and move on, but it's hard enough as it is to make helpful posts in legal threads. This thread has me wondering: when does discussing the law on a forum like AskMe cross over to giving legal advice? Obviously, any lawyer's first answer is going to be "talk to a lawyer." But then what? (A very similar professional ethics problem for
doctors has been discussed here before.) My legal ethics class was fantastic, but we talked more about Enron than the internet.
