You could just buy a small tabletpc like the samsung q1. It could do everything you need and it's portable.

i think the muscles in your hands can move when u don't use them properli. u could tri stretching ur hand and holding them in a different position.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. To be more specific I was planning to set the remote in a panasonic cordless phone casing and use the same button pad.
