I want more design and less web.

I want to learn about Web Design. Emphasis on the design part.

I'm your internet charging for your articles

Is there any way to get this article about "Between the Acts" from Literary Encyclopedia without having to pay for it? I have been unable to find it anywhere else.

Education Blogs.

I'm preparing an exposition (a talk) for a class about blogs in general and their use in education. What should I include on it? Resources and research about the topic would be very helpful.

Are you ready? 3, 2, 1. GO

Osu! is a Tatakae! Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents simulator which strives to maintain the feeling of the games and add a wide range of online features. See also: Stepmania for Dance Dance Revolution, Frets on Fire/Guitar Zero for Guitar Hero and UltraStar Deluxe for Singstar (Karaoke). Maybe they are not the original games but they allow PC users to enjoy a genre that until now had been tied to its console roots. [partly inspired by]

BIG VOTES vs small votes

Somewhat unimportant but, why do projects under 10 posts look like this while using Opera?

So, is there any reason why the tag view (example) has no comment count?

Voted. Unvoted. Voted. Unvoted.

Not terribly important but: is there any way to reverse a vote in the projects page?

This is my depressed stance.

How do people who's depressed get better? More specifically, how do they get the motivation to get better if they are depressed and, therefore, not really caring about anything? I'm not sure how to phrase this question better. If it's chatfilter, feel free to delete it.

25 new posts about how it doesn't say that.

Very short question. Why does it say 'X new links' when most posts here don't have links? Shouldn't it say 'X new posts or X new flameouts/hugesexismthreads/podcasts'?

History is something that happens to other people.

From an historical point of view, how much time needs to pass before an event is no longer remembered? How much time between 'oh god that was awful' until 'that happened a lot of time ago so I don't care about it?'

Walking hurts!

Sometimes my shins hurt when I'm walking alone. It never happens when I'm walking with someone else.

The only thing wrong with immortality is that it tends to go on forever.

Do we want to look below the surface this time?

Surface. A multi-user touch table. How curious that this happens some time after Apple revealed their own multitouch interface. More info here, here and here.

I want to make something similar to the navigation menu of Helldesign, as in 'image > click > new image' (obviously, without refreshing).

So, we have a 'Popular Favourites' feature, and I love it. However, it's limited to the last 24 hours. Is there any chance of expanding that period of time?

Pinochet is dying... again.

Former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet is in serious condition but stable after heart attack. Just last week he celebrated his 91th birthday and said that he accepted 'political responsibility' for what happened during his dictatorship. Also, before the heart attack he was under house arrest for the disappearance of two persons and being investigated because of tax evasion. -- The popular reaction in Chile has been similar to other occasions: some celebrate; some are sad, but most just want an undivided Chile.
