I agree that a major problem is the with-holding from the employer. She's just in for a world of trouble with that one. However, I see nothing wrong with the question itself, and in fact, I think one of the items you are calling out is dead wrong: The premise of the question is silly: how can I erase publicly available information someone posted the internets, etc.

Sounded to me more like a marketer than some 25-year-old that got high once at 15. Then again we're probably not the target audience for propaganda. Or are we?

It also made me think of Scientology. All those references to clarity and being clear.

For me it's k8t and thepinksuperhero (k8t more so than tps). I end up agreeing with them while reading their comments and then I get to the end and find out it's them. At this point I'm almost able to predict it. Particularly if it's a comment that really resonates with me or my experiences. I also recognize klangklangston sometimes too before I get to his name. I think it's the youthful authoritative confidence mixed with a splash of aggression he sometimes displays.

The OP has determined that he might not be able to get his employee fired if he goes through the normal, legal and socially-acceptable methods of termination. Actually, I think this response by rmhsinc is rather well-said. I'm genuinely curious to find out if this is okay, since it doesn't seem quite as judgmental. It deals with the behavior rather than the person, as Caddis mentions.

The OP knows blackmail is illegal. Otherwise he would have titled it: "Is blackmail illegal?" rather than "Is blackmail always illegal?"

The first question was the better of the two: it referenced a very specific, universal exeperience ("passing one another") and universal emotion ("power trip"). ... The second question failed to set a good stage, but the thread rescued it by providing insights into the same emotion in other social situations. I found it a more interesting thread, but that's probably because I already know about the male experience.

Caddis is right but I for one am now feeling guilty for the mean stuff I said. I hope he ends up alright after the beating he received from almost everyone.

I happen to be okay with the therapyfilter stuff since I find it interesting and entertaining, but I can see where it has the potential to get tiresome. If there's some sort of administrative headache that goes along with these sorts of things, as a few people have alluded to, then I'd reconsider that view.

Cunning, I'm pretty sure that was a crack at me so I'll clarify. I find it interesting and entertaining to read other people's responses and the various interpretations of the same story. Basically, I like watching the thread evolve as the day goes on. If it's not a crack at me, then I'm too sensitive and need to post my own therapyfilter question about how to not take everything so personally when it comes from strangers on the internet. :)
