My good friends suffers from severe nausea during pregnancy. She is seven weeks pregnant now. It is not just morning nausea, and she is very sick. She went to the doctor and tried most home remedies already, but nothing works.

I would like to make some Halo (the video game) things for my husband's birthday (next week). I am thinking about a Halo-cake (any good ideas? I don't want to make a photo cake) but don't have any other ideas. I don't live in the US and cannot buy many special products here. I also don't want to spend a lot of money. It's the idea that counts. Any ideas?

A couple of months ago I read an article that stated that world class athletes or musicians were not that much more talented than other people: they just worked harder. Does anybody know which article I mean? I am also interested to learn other opinions about this. How good can you become if you are very motivated and willing to invest the time? My personal interest is in long distance running, but I am also interested in general stories/opinions/articles.

My daughter recently got my old play tea-set (cups, a teapot etc.). It is made from hard plastic. Is it still safe to drink from? There is no mention on the toys of the type of plastic it is made of. They are approximately 25 years old.
