Why wasn't it deleted as threadshitting? Because that's not what threadshitting is. Threadshitting is a non-constructive non-engagement with the topic and just posting some drive-by comments that expresses your disapproval. This wasn't… [more]

This definitely happens to me if I'm not eating properly around exercise (i.e. something worthwhile before and something with carbs and some fat and protein within about 30 min afterwards). You can get an exaggerated sort of low blood sugar thing… [more]

I'm a little more fed up with this sort of thing (and encounter it more rarely) and my response is usually more like "You are welcome to feel how you feel, but the statistics don't really support that." and then I have a few studies in my… [more]

You're not his parent. You need to figure out what the real issue is and focus on that. I agree with mibo if this is about money that he's not bringing in (in a very real way not in a "I am not comfortable with this") you should discuss… [more]

From the OP:1. Telling potential beaus about my 3 month expiration date. I don't tell guys I date about this because, as jbenben said, this can cast quite the pall on a relationship. So I'm always hesitant to bring this up lest a guy stay with me out… [more]

Hello! We spent the day today going to the Soane's Museum and the Hunterian Museum. Good fun. I am not hellbent on staying within Rotherhithe, a place where we could get dinner and drinks (we're unlikely to make a late night of it) at the same time would be great. Thames views sounds good. Old Salt Quay and George look like they either have the same owner or the same web designer, which is it? I don't know geography well enough to pick a place but we're fine with anything that's one bus/tube ride away. Local folks traveling from further away should make that call. [more]
