Does anybody know if there is one website that aggregates all of the do-gooder/socially conscious arts happenings and events in NYC? Or if there is not one mega calendar, are there smaller ones devoted to a specific art form ie. socially conscious films, do-gooder theatre, etc...?

I have a full time job and by the end of the day I am too tired to stand. But I need another source of income as I am getting married soon and need to save for all sorts of things. What type of work can I do from home part time that will actually bring in money...all I seem to find on the internet are get rich quick schemes. I don't want to stuff envelopes or anything like that. I have a communications degree and some graphic design experience, some technical writing experience and am handy with a computer. Any suggestions?

The Peace Corps Request projecet
I've started a project on Ning where Peace Corps volunteers around the world can post requests for help on various projects. We try to use local resources and materials but often what we need is not available or just not there.
There are needs for materials, funding, virtual volunteers, hopefully this site will help volunteers fill those needs.
I do need some serious php and css help though please contact me if you are interested.

Where can Peace Corps volunteers go to find funding for projects that they want to carrying out? Volunteers aren't given very many resources to locate funding to initiate projects. Where can a volunteer go to find organizations or funding sources?
