Mac question: I love iCal for calendering, but hate its to-do functions because they don't sync with the categories in my Palm. Is there any way to use iCal for a calendar but manage to-dos with another program? Or do I have to move both my calendar and my tasks in Palm Desktop?

How useful / rewarding are you finding Flickr? Is it worth it for me to spend time uploading and tagging photos, and to bug my friends to join? It looks very cool and like a social network that's actually good for something: it also looks like kind of a lot of work, especially since I can't keep all my photos there or print pictures from Flickr.
My love of cool web apps says "yea," while my schedule says "nay." What say ye?

In a couple of weeks I'm going to start bicycling to work every day (excepting rain or snow). There'll be hardly any traffic to speak of, since I'll be biking on the Charles River bike paths in Boston. I've never biked to work regularly before: any commuting bicyclists have any tips?
