'Course Amos 'n' Andy couldn't vote
Brilliant! How many more offensive stereotypes can they fit into a campaign, I wonder...fried chicken, watermelon...Kwanzaa?
Is anyone in that country going to vote Republican this election?

Is it time to get excited?
If He tarries, I will just have time to get my hair and nails done (you know let all I come into contact with know of my Bridegroom and what He has/will do). So i am all spiffied up for Him when He does arrive to take me home. No disappointment, just a few last minute details to take care of to be more pleasing to look at.
Wow. Get spiffy for the lord, y'all.

Other loves
still breathe deep inside me.
This...
I love her! This one's my favourite:
Cat in an empty apartment
Dying--you wouldn't do that to a cat.
For what is a cat to do
in an empty apartment?
Climb up the walls?
Brush up against the furniture?
Nothing here seems changed,
and yet something has changed.
Nothing has been moved,
and yet there's more room.
And in the evenings... [more]

Your rights end where my nose begins.
Care to indicate if any of these links is NSFW? Some of them (first, two last) sound "risky"...
First one contains grainy images of the procedure, second an article on animal abuse, third an article I'm not risking as the address includes the word peyote and the last few are all picture-free articles.

Thanks very much, Mr Hung. I'll opt to not get the sack by risking it.

MathFilter(edout)
The thing is, she was required to pass a subject (for which there is now a recognised dyslexia) without assistance and without necessity.
I've never used algebra, or a lot of maths in my life. I'm not proud of this, but I can recognise that I simply can't get my head around it.
Why not just let algebra be an elective and basic maths remain the requirement?

Pepsi Blue?
This type of tokenism really pisses me off. I can't believe that Gap, Nike et al are going for this with any sort of altruism or "public responsibility". No way. Bono = hot, his endorsements sell stuff. Nike = wants to sell stuff. This 1% going to charity is not going to hurt them at all, and yet they act as if they deserve full credit for the salvation of Africa.

Don't be evil?
I agree with Possum, in the matter that an effective protest would be to use other search engines. On the matter of Vodka, however, it's clear that Possum's never been to Russia.

Whiteboard madness
I don't know. C*nt soup brought to my mind the fable of stone soup, except even more funny... a traveller went to a village hungry, and he offered to make his host some c*unt soup. "All I need is a c*unt, he began..."

On Policy Discussions in a Never-Ending War
It was the first election that made my mind up to emigrate to the UK. On one hand, I understand that the US is just too far gone to the right to have much hope. The most I can do is sit and wait (and hope) that in my lifetime, things will get better.
