Sourcefilter: I've been seeing large sheets of paper or a paper-like material with cutouts of flowers, animals, and other cutesy designs used as a backdrop in window displays at stores like Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. Where can I buy some?

My boyfriend's mother died recently, and he and his father are starting to "take stock" of the household. They spent a lifetime traveling and collecting so there are lots of items that we believe are worth something, but we really need to get them appraised. We aren't sure how to do this given the wide range of stuff including art, pottery, furniture, antique costuming, and ephemera.

A friend is dealing with the chronic illness of an elderly parent. Currently, insurance is paying for a home health aide to come in four hours a day during the week, but the family really needs to have some help on weekends, too.

Forever Pregnant.
The
CDC has released guidelines for improving the "preconception health" of all women of childbearing age whether they plan to have children or not. From the the WaPo article:
"among other things, this means all women between first menstrual period and menopause should take folic acid supplements, refrain from smoking, maintain a healthy weight and keep chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes under control." So ladies, don't even think of touching the
litter box. You know, just in case.
