Anansi said that it's impossible for white people to have 'the first inkling' of what racism is about, and that white people have never and will never experience prejudice or bigotry. As if it's categorically impossible, by virtue of their whiteness, for any white person to experience any sort of prejudice or bigotry anywhere and under any circumstances. Bigotry is to dislike a group for the very fact that they are different from you. Racism is the exercise of power detrimental to one group by another.
