Problems with impulsiveness
It has not. The person that pointed out the impulsiveness problem also said she thought it might be related to ADHD. However, she is not a mental health professional so I'm not sure how much creedence to give that.

Flying Squirrel, the difference to me is that with smoking it is a very easy binary. Smoke/Don't smoke. With impulsiveness, I'm often not even aware that I'm being impulsive with my behavior. I'm 34 and it was very recently that this personality trait was brought up to me at all. I'd never thought about it on my own at all.

NYC Tour Guide Exam
I actually used to own this book. The test changed in 2004 and I'm not sure how up to date the book is.

New Orleans fell through, so let's try something else that's new!
Beer and mixed drinks should cost around 5 dollars at a normal bar. At a club, can be much more expensive.

Speaking of cheap drinks...
My favorite place has it in spades. Plus, lots of buybacks.

What about soft drink? That was said in place of "pop" or "soda" in middle Tennessee.

Ex-Files: Summer Vacation Issue
You know, I'm not so sure that I agree with just about everyone who has responded. I think that, yes, you should say "I'm now not ok with this." However, because you said yes at first, and that he thought it was an ok proposition to start with, he may be very confused at this turnaround. I have been in a similar position to the boyfriend's before, and I admit that I was very naive. I had NO interest in my ex but we still hung out alone sometimes and my current girlfriend was totally... [more]

Job market in Portland OR
I was not asking for a specific line of work necessarily. I used to live in PDX (PSU Grad) and my friends who still live there bemoan the job situation. They are mostly coffeeshop/bike store type workers so I was looking for some people from other walks of life to comment.

Lost stock cert
I called the transfer agent (who was quite rude) and she told me that I needed a lost instrument bond and that this was usually more expensive than the value of the security.

SlyBevel,
Hmm, I hadn't thought of the fact that that might be the case why the TV is on the street. It was on the Upper East Side in Manhattan so I just figured it was thrown out because someone got a flat screen or something.
Koselitz and dnthomps,
Thanks for the help!

Sales help
Yes, closing is the problem for me and I think for the same reason that you think it is hard Ethereal Bligh. It is seemingly too aggressive. I think it is a matter of practice. One main issue for me is that I'M not sold on the product really but their must be customers that are satisfied because the company is very successful.
There are some great tips here!
