I'm giving a talk in Aranjuez, Spain (southern part of Madrid metro area) in mid July and will be in the area for a week. Can anyone tell me about Aranjuez? How far is it from the center of Madrid and is it easy to get into the city?

Domain Mapping via .htaccess: I want to map a second domain I have to a subdirectory in my main Web directory (BTW, this is
not a Typepad blog). My ISP asked that I set up the redirect via my .htaccess file but failed to supply the code to do that (we're having a little chat about suggesting I do something without giving me the tools I need to do it -g).

Because of a problem with my Entourage database I now have lots of duplicate email addresses in my address book. I thought I could see the duplicates by going through my contact list but they are not listed next to each other. I can search each email address and it will display the dups but that would mean I would need to know which email addresses are duplicated. Clicking on the name field does not place the dups together in the list. Is there a simpler way to find the duplicates?

VPN/Airport Express Filter: Here's my sad problem: I have Verizon Fiber Optics. Their modem is connected to my Apple Express via Ethernet. When I successfully connect to my office network via VPN I can no longer connect to the rest of the Internet. When I disconnect VPN I can immediately reconnect to the Internet...

CSS/Print/QTVR Filter: I am trying to print
this page. But when I do the QTVR image doesn't print (FWIW: it's a poster QT image with the QTVR). How can I get it to print? I have a special print.css file.

Fluid CSS Filter: I am looking for examples of a two column Web page with a fluid main column on the left and a rigid width sidebar on the right. The examples need to look good (no simple CSS box diagrammed "how to's"). I want to show this to a client but I want the Web page to be attractively designed to enhance the point I'm trying to make (that this CSS solution is a good thing, natch).

ShowerDrainFilter: Every six months or so our shower drain clogs and we have to call a plumber to snake it out. That costs about $125 each time. We asked him the last time if we could buy our own snake and do it ourselves and he strongly cautioned us against that.

All of a sudden my wife's Mac OS X account won't open on our desktop (OS 10.3.9). We put in the password but the login bar just displays the blue and white candy cane bar (it's animated). And then it just hangs. I've tried correcting permissions but it didn't help. Anyone have any suggestions short of deleting the account and starting over?

I hate buying pants. None of the Docker-type khaki's fit me. Either the waist is too big or the, um, butt is too tight. I usually wear jeans to work but find the need for a slightly more professional business-casual look. I need help.
