The Alberta government has started an awareness campaign for kids, teaching them how to recognize internet "perverts" and their methods, and what to do if they're approached.
That sort of thing seems more productive than this sort of thing.

I used to be really, really into Homestar Runner, bought loads of merch, watched everything they put out, and then one day I just stopped finding it entertaining.
I'm not saying that it's intrinsically unfunny or anything, and the creators are to be commended (bitterly envied, really) for the manner and extent of their success, but I guess I had a finite appetite for it.

That bit about Maggie Gyllenhaal irked me too, mostly because my opinion of her is difficult to articulate without coming across as a creepy virgin with a telephoto lens.
She's a lovely, lovely woman and I don't know what the hell this guy's smoking.
