Music post: Cave Creek Jail
I'd actually like to hear a scratchy, plaintive violin added, and the occasional church bell.

Music post: At the Open Mic (Cortex vs Los Muchachos Mexicanos)
Hey, wow. Thanks, sidebar! Thanks, cortex and Mexican! I'm clearly not checking up on MeFi Music as much as I should.

I ordered the CD immediately after hearing No More Room, and received it a couple of days ago. It's been playing constantly since then. Seriously, guys, go on a national tour already. I wanna see this live.

Music post: California Song
I sound like a Newfoundlander? Gracious, I had no idea. Perhaps I'm secretly a Canadian changeling, placed in the bassinet of an unsuspecting New Englander.

Music post: Rubik's Cube
I thought I only liked this song a little, but then, for some reason, I went back and listened to it again. And then I was positive I only liked it a little, but for some reason I had to listen to it again. This process repeated itself about three more times. So at this point, I can only conclude that I like it a whole lot.

LOVE HAS SOLVED THE CUBE

This is lovely. I kinda wish I was listening to it alone in a bar, rather than in front of my computer.
