Thanks, peeps! edlundart, that bell-like tone was actually just a beat-up Silvertone electrc guitar. I'm still not quite sure how I got it to sound like a bell.

Lovely and dreamlike. I feel like the trumpet is actually saying something in trumpet-language which I just can't quite understand. Somehow, it strikes me as more human than the vocalist does.

I thought I only liked this song a little, but then, for some reason, I went back and listened to it again. And then I was positive I only liked it a little, but for some reason I had to listen to it again. This process repeated itself about three more times. So at this point, I can only conclude that I like it a whole lot.
