MeTa post: del.icio.us profiles
I have one account for all Jewish information.

MeTa post: I don't buy it
I don't have any interest in the "is this fake or not" debate that will be ensuing, but I wanted to comment on another aspect of the question and answers that I found troubling:

Ever-so-often someone asks a question on askmefi that contains within it some (possibly) objectionable premises or prior actions, and a bunch of people chime in with completely unhelpful answers that basically translate to saying that the person is shitty and they should get whatever... [more]

I'll chime in with some personal experience, as it gets to the heart of a lot of this hypothetical stuff. Just last week (!) I had my own work-coming-out experience. I graduated college last year, and spent my years there being very obviously blatantly out. [I had started a gay rights group on campus, etc.]

I moved to a new city and got a job and for the first four months the only person who knew I was gay was my supervisor, because it came up during my interview,... [more]

I'm down for putting it off until a time when we can have a more concrete plan that we can announce in advance.

MeTa post: Looks like this has been tried a few other times,...
I'm both new to st. louis and relatively new to metafilter, so I don't know much about these meet-ups, but I would certainly like to attend if something is planned.
