I'm looking for assistance with two teenagers, 17 (Eileen) and 19 (Chris).
I am looking for an adult to stay the night at my place on the following evenings:
Feb 5, 6, 7
Feb 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
The same person doesn't have to do every night. I pay $$$, there's cable TV and Tivo, high speed cable, wireless, a friendly cat. (My dog will probably be staying elsewhere.) The only kid-related responsibilities is making sure that no one annoys the neighbors by being loud after 10, and telling Chris to wash his dishes.
I am also looking for a person to drive Chris (and his friend Olivia) to a class from 4:00 to 6:00 (or make sure he gets on BART) on several of the following days:
Feb. 5, 6, 7, 8
Feb. 12, 13, 14, 15
Could be the same person, could be a different person. The class is in Oakland, near 19th Street BART. Olivia lives in a group home, and the group home staff may do some of the days, but they're not that reliable.
I am also looking for a person to drive Eileen over to Independence high school on February 5 to take the exit exam.
Female preferred (Chris tends to be cranky with males), but anyone considered.

EthicsFilter. My teenager with a learner's permit backed into a parked car (whilst practicing driving with me in the front passenger seat screaming "no, no, no!"). I left a note with my phone number, asked a passerby whether they knew who owned the car (they did not), and called my insurance company to make a claim. But the owners haven't called and it's been a week -- now what?

WillitsFilter: I'm taking the monster teens (an 18 year old, and two of his friends) to a cabin in Willits (Mendocino County) this Thursday for four days. My adult friends have bailed. When the kids start to drive me mad, is there a pub I can visit? Other places to check out, possibly meet locals?

Suggestions for, experiences with, treatments for keloid scarring? Especially in Bay Area, California. This is for my foster son (biracial, black), who has scarring on his ears associated with pierced ears. We're meeting with a plastic surgeon at SF General, but surgery is not supposed to have a very high success rate for keloids. (The internet says injected steroids and pressure clips.) Also, his medical coverage is MediCal.
