SQUARE magazine website A friend of mine recently started a magazine in and for Tulsa, Oklahoma. I've been placed in charge of the website. I'll be going along on the featured Thrift Store Road Trip. We'll be driving from Tulsa to Toronto and back in seven days. We are packing no bags, as all our clothing will be purchased at thrift stores along the way.

Nice job with the new info fields on the customization page, but I would recommend coverting spaces in AIM names to plus signs (+). In cases where a user has a space in their screenname, putting that space in the field will cause the screenname to be cut off at the space when passed to AIM.

This is another request regarding the way threads are sorted. Its would be a little more tricky than the sorts implemented thus far, but I would guess its definately possible (I'm consdering doing this on my site). I really like this idea, but I don't recall seeing it in use anywhere before. Anyway, it goes something like this:

1) THREAD SORTING
a. new threads (to each particular visitor) appear at the top of page, with slightly different background color to differentiate them from the rest
b. old threads with new comments follow (posts with the most new comments first, or something like this)
c. last comes the threads with no new comments since last visit, displayed in the order they were actually posted.


Just a little something I was thinking about. It seems to me like it would be a nice way to sort out threads. Would anybody agree with me on this one? Has anybody seen something similar implemented on other sites?

Limp Bizkit teams up with Napster to bring the world, or at least ten select cities, free music. After lawsuits were recently filed against Napster by artists Dr. Dre and Metallica, Napster answers by sponsering a free tour featuring Limp Bizkit and Cypress Hill.

All pimpwar accounts disabled? I was really getting into the game. Its probably for the better since I will now be able to return to my previous life (not that it was anything signifigant). I'll just tough it out until May 1st when it comes back as a fully functional version.
